The louder was the party nearby, the larger were the coins I was digging up.
This coin was 5 cm in diameter.

I was just about to think if there were any older coins buried at this hot spot as I received a "small" solid signal, the depth indicator showed that an object was buried at a great depth... or was it a coin very small in size?
Indeed it was the latter. I got something in my gloved hand but I could not see it. I swung my hand in front of the search coil, and the signal was solid silver-like! I was carefully taking the dirt, piece by piece, away until I finally noticed the silver edge of a tiny hammered coin.
