OBVERSE: an image of a crowned horseman carrying a spear, the mint engraver's mark "АЛ" under the galloping horse.

REVERSE: a tilde line (missing on this coin) is positioned above the 5-line legend, engraved in old Cyrillic letters, which reads: "ЦРЬИ / ВЕЛIKIИ / КНSЬIВА / НЬВСЕIA / РУСIИ" ("Czar and Grand Duke Ivan of Entire Rus").
