Got one of these at a reasonable price with a 12-inch spider coil. Arrived back home and thought, though it was dark, would just walk into my local field, just across the road from my house. So I have walked this a few times, with Nox 600, XP250 and the Nokta. No word of a lie, within 200 yards, I picked two clear signals and had an 1880 penny and a toasted one pre Victoria. The read out on these is the best visible display I have seen on any detector. The sounds are musical, unlike the Nokta and XP Deus which grates on your ears. This machine is worth every penny. Pick up a cheaper version the GM one which I have also. Why spend and extra 300 on a Equinox when this will do what they do but I think better!
