A very good choice if you can afford one

I have had one for nearly a year now and while there is room for great improvements in metal detectors this is no dog. I particularly like the wireless feature on the headphones. The separate iron detect has saved me digging an awful lot of junk. It may have caused me to miss something too, but overall I like the feature. In most cases you can tell a dime from a quarter before you dig. I would like to speak to the specifications on this unit at this site. It says it has no volume control. I say, not so. It has both an adjustment on the control box and volume knob on the headphones. One of the things that I have found with my unit is that Garrett stands behind their products. I have had a transducer replaced and my headphones repaired on warranty with no fuss. They are fantastic at real customer service. This review is an honest opinion by a owner, user.
