Fisher CZ-3D

When the CZ-3D first came out, I had to have one! Having owned many fisher CZ models, I really looked forward to getting it. First off, it is a very well made unit like all the CZ models I have had. It is impossible to ground balance per owners manual. The Sensitivity must be set at around 5 when powering up or it is very unstable. I believe the gain is cranked just too much. It works fine for relic hunting but at even the highest discrimination iron cannot be filtered out. If you do not mind digging some very deep targets only to find rusty nails mainly, then this is the machine for you. Personally I prefer the CZ-5, 6, 6a and all the CZ Pro units. I really tried my best but the CZ-3D just was not for me I have not tried any Bounty Hunters, so I can not say. Happy hunting to all!
