So-so machine but no great depth

I liked it at first as it was light and so quiet, but that was because it had no deep seeking ability. I even sent it in to the factory to get it serviced and reset to spec. This was done speedily and quite cheaply too. However once out on the beach hunt it still was no better in depth. I was getting about 4 or 5 inches only max depth, if that, on coins on the beach. I sold it and heard the buyer was very happy with it.

Great Detector

When deciding on a back up detector, I borrowed one of these and was very impressed. Very good value for money, but I didn't buy this unit. I opted for a Viking VK40. My decision was made purely because it was a little cheaper, and, after all, it was only for back up to my Minelab CTX 3030. I'm still not sure if that was the right call. I am happy with my purchase but the C-Scope is great value for money as well. Good, simple machine that offered good performance inland and on the beach.
