This gallery depicts digital images of vintage military and civilian buttons from French and Indian and American Revolutionary War periods that I recoverd around cellar holes, foundations, stone walls, forts and Rev War military sites, camps, and in the fields while relic hunting in Upstate NY. Relic Hunting is my primary metal detecting activity in Upstate NY because of many important historical events that took place in the 18th century.
